4-5 months but it is an ongoing project. A website should always get updated once a month with new content to stay current.
Every page is typed from scratch. From HTML, JavaScript and Custom CSS. Every word to every picture is done manually. I type everything in Notepad and paste it in my website using an Embed Code Function. Yes at times it is a pain in the ass because it doesn't look right or I forget to close the script. With JavaScript it could be as small as forgetting a ; or }. JavaScript is very finicky because everything has to be exactly correct or you will have an error. When that happens you literally have to go through the script from the start to finish.

It is always changing. I started out with five and now it is growing past that. Pages will come up and down periodically some are down due to updating material or scripting error.
Not yet! I would rather have my website ready and looking good before I start advertising it. All the Sponsor links are taken down till 2020. If you like to get emailed or get notified VIA Phone you can always get a hold of Tyler Chamberlin.
Here is a place to advertise yourself on my site. There will be 3 tiers: Gold, Silver, Bronze. Each will cost differently and have different terAll the Sponsor links are taken down till 2020. If you like to get emailed or get notified VIA Phone you can always get a hold of Tyler Chamberlin.
As of May 31st 2015. I will be accepting donations. No, you don't have to donate! It is only here if you need or wish to support me to say thank you. It is mainly used for my family trying to support me. Still I will advise them to buy my Photography to hang on their walls. Least they get something back for their money. I would rather you personally look into a Sponsorship than a random donation. Just because it helps you or your company out.
No, I do everything on my own but if you want to improve it just contact Tyler Chamberlin.
March 2013 but I didn't start using it till October 2014.
My father has his own section. He chooses what he wants on his page. Although I started his posts to get him started. He now has an account. I stay away from his side now and let him do his thing. I have the powers to edit or remove his posts though. For he does not know anything about blogging. He may get into it, he may not but the option is there for him if he ever needs.
Since I do Photography, Write Books, Play Sports and Play Video Games. I will mainly talk about that. I may do reviews or throw in Affiliate Programs to help bring in revenue on the side. Still learning how to make the best experience for everyone without overloading it with Ads and such. My blog will keep you always informed about my Photography uploads to Book updates.
Depends on what your into? It has many sections and I try my best to keep it organized the best way I can. Say if you want my books and not my photography. You will find that you will be only reading about my books.
Tyler Chamberlin is the owner and the Admin of the Blog and Phil Chamberlin is a Mod. I limit who has what access to what information. Phil cannot edit or modify my posts. He can only do his.
When blogging you need revenue. I try my best to place them in Affiliate categories and Tyler's Blog Section. Since Tyler's Blog is connected to everything please understand that flooding of Ads may happen at times. Once I get the Blog stabilized and up to my standards Affiliate programs will start to slow down. I try my best to keep my Photography, Books Ad free for the fans or friends of mine. If any Ads come up please know I will never flood it with Ads because I know I will lose viewers. I will only Ad one if I feel that it would help the readers.
Yes and I will place it at the bottom right hand side. I am still learning it and confused on why they are keep closing my account. The customer support is useless and trying to learn what I'm doing wrong. I will keep it clean and organized best way I can.
I was in Fort St. John, BC and a writers group told me about blogging. They kept pushing me and pushing me to start one. So I said why not I'll give it a try.
I have good customer assistance. In cause you do not understand what OAC is, it means 'Ontario Academic Credit'. Basically first year of university credit but done through high school. I have Leadership Management 12 / 13 OAC. I Did Business Management 13 OAC, Law 13 OAC, Networking Skills. I know how to Script and Code. I am a fast learner and nearly a Jack of all Trades. I feel at times you may learn something at my Blog. If you do please give feed back as much as possible. If you dislike something let me know as well. I will always listen to negative feedback. I may not remove it though I will answer your comments or feedback.
I do periodically. At times I may post lots to once a month. I have lots going on because Photography takes a long time to organize pictures. Writing takes lots of my time out of the day. I am constructing a website and a blog as well as my personal life. If you want more about a certain topic please give me feedback any time you wish.

"Do not blow the money by buying a big screen TV or something not worth it. Instead save for a rainy day. Invest in the future, have healthy teeth, take post-secondary school."
My grandmother cried once I bought a camera and did not follow her wishes because I bought a Camera.
Due to the fact that I am epileptic, I struggle getting around but that does not stop me. Just limits where I travel to or how fast I get there. I walk most places or ride my bicycle. At times I take public transportation or friends drive me to the destination.
Landscape Mode, Sports Mode
AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G ED
Animals and Wildlife. Nature and Flower shots I am slowly getting into.
I do because several professional photographers told me that losing 8 gig worth of pictures is far better than losing 64+ gig worth of pictures. They told me to buy more 8 gig cards and enjoy taking less pictures. Take your time and take that one breath taking shot vs 40 of the same subject. Timing and patience is the key with photography.
No, I am self taught since July 2010. I am still learning every time I take out my camera. I try new modes out every time I shoot a picture. I plan to go to school in the summer of 2015. Saving $50.00 bucks a month so I have $600.00 for the course next year.
I wanted to see what I am capable of. I know a picture if you take your time and have patience you can get some outstanding shots. I try my best and at times I come home with nothing. With me, photography is a game and a journey. I love capturing moments of my journey for people who admire picture..
Not yet, I have a two tripods though. I have tried many times and still teaching myself ISO and Shutter Speed. Give me a few years I may get better but I do not plan to do lots in the future. I want to learn the concept of 'Black and White' or the 'Rule of Thirds' correctly.
Not at all. I do have some talent though. I feel you are only a Professional Photographer if you have years of schooling or experience behind your back. Even Professional Photographers at times come back with nothing. More you network, show your work and get feed back more of a professional you will become. If a Professional Photographer does not want to keep learning; then, they are not a true Professional.
Mainly through Trial and Error. Playing with your camera is the best advice I can give you. Every camera is different and knowing the manual helps. YouTube Videos do help. I have company called 'Photo Shelter' emailing me pointers. Although I cannot add another Link to this I apologize. Here is their website: http://www.photoshelter.com/. They nearly talk about every everything you need to know about photography. You can even sell and more on their site. I learn from other Professionals asking them questions from time to time. Never hurts to pick their brains at times I forget and ask the same question. A Photographer young or old will be more than gladly assist another Photographer to get that breath taking shot. They only ask that you do they same to another Photographer if they ask you.
Oh for sure. I only put up pictures that I like. If I will not hang it on my own walls, I do not show it.
Currently 3. I only live in a bedroom and have limited space.
I take pictures when I have time. I always have hundreds of pictures needing editing or something. There is a saying someone's garbage is someone's treasure. Never delete any of your pictures. Store them and log them for the future. You may want it later or learn something tomorrow to make that picture stand out. You may not like the posture of that duck or the tree in the background and the person ten months from now offers you thousands for it. You will be like 'What does this person see in this image. It sucks.' Just words of advice never mock your work with a customer. Listen to them and if you listen close enough you will understand that you have a picture perfect for him in your crap gallery.
If they are blurry or a duplicate of same shot no use of keeping it. Some photographers take 20 shots or more of one image. Then they take hours of editing or looking at the same image. Take 2-3 of the same image but no more. If you haven't got it by the 3rd shot try something else. It will save you time in the end. Learn patience, you can be there for 3 hours under the camera waiting for the Tiger to do something spectacular. Learn when to snap the camera. If your looking at the event you missed your chance. You may get lucky but then again take your time and enjoy photography. It is meant to be a hobby and some people get very rich for 1 hours work of photography.
Could be a sporting game taking pictures of players hitting each other or a bee mounting a queen bee. I was working at Rona but not that day. I just visited with my camera and oversaw in the distance a bee mounting and just giving the queen bee for nearly a half an hour. Having the eye is what you want to aim for. Angles, lighting, depth of field all comes into play. Rule of Thirds is something every photographer needs to learn.
My Frog Picture called 'The Frog'. I was at the Vancouver Aquarium and it stands out nicely.
I would say the worker bumble bee having sex with a queen bee. That bee was like the energizer bunny, it kept going and going. The queen just took it too. It walked away as the bee kept going. The queen didnt even mind neither, if anything it encouraged him to keep going. Every time when the bee stopped to take a break the queen bee would do something different to keep the bee going. Sadly the bee died after sex with its penis still in the queen. I shortly learned that it is normal for this to happen and the chances of the bee living is very slim to none after having sex. I'm like ouch, poor buddy but I would love to die that way. What a trooper, it lasted about a half and hour.
The reason is because it deprecates your work. Take pride in your work. Ya stock photography can make you pennies on the dollar for every download or what have you. Photography is meant to be enjoyed and valued. A single picture can tell a million words. With the way of Instagram and stock sites people are taking advantage of your images. You have unbelievable shots and your giving it to someone for literally a dollar or so. They then take that image and blow it up to place it on their wall or something. Yes, people are doing that. I thought about using stock sites. I even had a Instagram account. I may start up an Instagram account up again but I will be watermarking my images. Watermarks can be removed at today's day of age.
Use sites like: Fineartamerica.com, Zazzle.com, Redbubble.com, Imagekind.com. Simply because they are pay on demand sites. List your items for 10 bucks if you wish but the idea for those sites is to increase your photography and make it glow. Then again stock photography can make you hundreds of dollars, if your lucky even more. The thing I'm getting at is, in the end people are stealing from you to save a buck. Just a heads up, read Facebook's policy. You will soon understand that they literally 'OWN' your images if you upload them to Facebook. Cannot urge this enough ... make a copy of your image and watermark the copy. Think about it, thank me later!
The term 'Out of Bounds' Photography or OOB for short form alters the picture. Programs like 'Adobe Photoshop' or 'Adobe Illustrator' does wonders to a picture. Both programs are so advanced anything is really possible now-a-days. It makes a 2d image look more realistic. For an example a fisherman reeling in a gigantic swordfish out of the water, splashing everywhere. What OOB does to the picture is put it in frame within a frame, making it into 2 pictures or more. Using perspective drawing methods you can have the swordfish jump out of the picture. Simply draw a white border slightly off-centered from the picture. Anything outside of the white frame you remove the white border and show the subject. The hard part is what to remove and what to show outside of the white frame. This is where you have to use creativity. If you get good enough you can have something like a dirt bike jumping out of one picture into another picture as it is jumping off a ramp. Depending how creative you are, anything is possible.
I do have some but not up to my standards. I later plan on creating hundreds of them once I get time. All the images that will take too much time to edit I will turn them into Out of Bounds Photography. I could be a car beside the subject car or a background that I dislike in some way. With Car Shows for example they park very closely together. There could be a random person in the background or the wheel may be cranked to the right and want it to look like it is turning out of the picture.
Making a single OOB Photograph takes planning and time to do it right. You need to be good at close to detail and somewhat of a perfectionist at the same time. If you quickly make one then it does not have the same affect as one that is done right. Since I use 'Adobe Photoshop' on a regular basis. I am slowly learning 'Adobe Illustrator'. I will make ones that I sell later. Adobe Illustrator is similar to 'Adobe Photoshop' but the fine difference is a huge difference with an altered picture.
With me I want to show things that are not Pixelated but in Vector Format. To quickly explain a Pixel and a Vector. When you blow up a straight line to the point that the image starts to Pixelate. It begins to carrot '^^^' instead of remaining '___'. With Vectors regardless how big you blow it up it remains at the same state as it was small. It will not distort or loose its figure. Until I take the time and learn 'Adobe Illustrator' my Out of Bounds Photography will be at a hold.
God's Hero - The Chosen One.
It took nearly 3 years to write and kept changing it. I will not release it till Book 8. It is very personal to me. I will give it to the editor once Book 8 is done. Once the editor has some say and wishes to publish it, I will announce it on my Blog or Website. I will keep everyone updated from time to time to let people know where I am in the 10 Book Series. It will be the biggest book series I will write.
A doctor once told me that writing would be very therapeutic and it would help me forget about the past. Instead it did the opposite. I started by writing journals about my life but I kept reading them and realized that I became angrier and depressed more. I became suicidal and many times nearly succeeded. Family abandoned me constantly. Work kept refusing me due to medical and doctors kept taking my jobs away due to seizures. It is always frustrating trying to fit in with society.
So I started to look at the corruption of the world. I realized that I have a lot of anger towards society being greedy and selfish. Since I believe in Helping Others, Paying it Forward and Kindness. I started my journey volunteering more. I learned to network properly and wanted people to hear my voice in novels. I studied Law in grade 13 and realized that Laws are broken and damaged from the inside out. Canada's Laws and the Ten Commandments from the bible both say do not kill but Canada keeps going to war and kills many. I looked into it and realized that there are many laws to protect the military to kill overseas. Politicians are a joke and never keep their word. I moved to the oil field up north BC and started to realize how bad it really was from the inside. That and the damage it is doing to the earth.
I got sick and tired of universities keep saying I read and write at a grade 3 / 4 level. They also told me I speak at a grade 7 level. Regardless what I did, it never pleased the universities. Also all the bullying in my life and the discrimination drove me to become strong enough to never give up. I lived on the streets for 2 years, winter and all. I have lived a rough life just barely scraping by. Income Assistance really helped me but my Seizures and Temper really destroyed my life. I still try to jump over any obstacle I run into. I set goals for myself both long term and short term. Along with dreams I may never reach but still try my best to reach them.
Writing and Reading. I am getting better slowly but it takes me a while to read something. I dislike reading so reading is the biggest obstacle. I have many books that my friends gave me and read them slowly trying to learn what I can. My typing and thinking skills are incredible. I type extremely quickly and enjoy typing.
After talking to many Authors, everyone will say the same thing. They read it years later and wishes they changed something in their book. Since I am a young author, I am still learning dialect and basic writing styles. Even if I get well known, I will be still trying to test my abilities to improve. I believe that is the only true Professional Author. Practice makes perfect!
So far because of 'NaNoWriMo' I will be working on 5 books. My NaNoWriMo 2014 project is called 'Secrets of Her'. I am doing a final editing on my 'God's Hero - The Chosen One', which took 3 years to write. Took 3 years because I kept changing everything and never had a storyline. I scraped about nearly 800 pages and kept editing the book. My ex took chunks out of it and it frustrated me. Just made me realize what an editor will do once they see my books in the future. So I will be ready for the worst. I wish I can thank her because she really helped me a lot. She was also the best Girl I ever dated. Still needs a bit more work. My other books are: Dragons, Superstar, The Wolf. I stopped 'Gold Discovery' and 'Project Kepler' because I am not ready to write that those books yet. Too much on my plate. I want to finish several books before I start another one.
I will do most of them myself. I am a very good artist if I chose to put effort into it. My 'God's Hero' is up so people can view the first Book Layout I have ever created. I will also use '99Designs' for some of my books. Since I do photography I may write a book strictly to show off my photography. That way I pay no Royalties or what have you. Editors may recommend I use their in-house Illustrators so at times I may pay Royalties. Still want to do my own.
I will do eBooks and keep up to the current standards. Technology will always be evolving; with that said, I will be always be looking for new ways to sell my work.
Depending on what the editor says to me I will post on my website the latest information. Volunteers I will give them a free copy of a book of their choice to say thank you. Depending on how well they do I may contact them again to read the future books. I may even start paying them to read for me. I have great editing software(s) but dislike the sound of my voice. I find that I stutter and get frustrated very easily. So I will not be reading my own books. I want people to have tones correctly and let the listener get into the book. So expressions and techniques will be required. Depending how good they are I would love door slams in my book or walking on the floor or the wing blowing in the background. More real the audio book is for the read more I'll pay. Remember keep it simple, less at times can be more. Creating the environment or the mood may make the reader stop listening or keep going till the end of the book.
Every author will do that from time to time. Some books I will write the days I lived on the streets to the struggles I went through. I will change the names, places the works to protect peoples Identities. Living on the streets taught me a lot about people and towards the homeless. I know what to do, say and expect from the homeless. For one, never give money to them. Addictions with the homeless is very bad. Could be drinking to drugs to gambling. Best thing to do is give them blankets or warm cloths at night, especially in the winter. Stop kicking them, walking over them and treating them like they are useless. If you stop and hear their stories the very few will make your realize that society kicked them out and rejected them. They will do their best to get back on their feet, as for others they will just use you. So know the difference between helping and being used. Giving things like Food or Water really helps.
Food Banks are always needing food and volunteers. Help out your community and volunteer. Giving your old clothing away helps presentation and odor problems. Most homeless refuses deodorant and toothpaste, I still question why. I know because I seen behind the scenes on what they do with it. Some mouth wash has alcohol in it and they try and get drunk off of it. Lysol at times they try to get stoned off the poisonous vapors. The stuff I have seen by the day to day people to the homeless and vice versa sickens me.
This one story will be about a man that lost his job, handed out resumes and failed every day. He begged for money and at the end of the day he gave 75% of his earnings to school kids to keep them out of trouble. At night other homeless people robbed him blinded as he slept. Police donated money every day to him and gave him coffee on a regular basis. It is a very touching story and in the end he gave up and just drank his life away. He remembers me very well and I give him a hug, water and food. I go out of my way for him because of the life he lived to the live he lives now. No man deserves his past. So One day I will write about it.
Never give up, keep writing regardless how bad you think you are, it takes a skilled person to stay motivated! Writing is not easy because you never get paid for the hours you write till you publish your book. With that said have a full time job until you publish 4-5 books. Even then, still have a job on the side till you sell millions of books. Publishing books is expensive but you can also Self Publish but you do more work. It pays to hire an agent with an editor and let them help you publish and become successful. Chances of being Successful is as low as 1%. Do not let that stop you for writing.
Use your mind and create a world that you dream of for yourself. Make your readers dream with you. With Fiction anything is possible! Think of your famous movie or author. Read their struggles or how they got started to how they got famous. Networking is the key and word of mouth. Use Social Media and talking to real life people to help you get started. It takes about 5 years to start having your name known. For some longer and the very lucky ones days of the book being published. Think outside of the box and skies the limit. Read more books to increase your imagination. Have faith in yourself and join a thing called 'NaNoWriMo'. Join writing groups at the local Library or in your town. There is always something going on behind the scenes. Pick their brains and ask questions and listen. Lastly, you can do it if you put your mind to it.
Have Beta readers because your family and friends are your first critic. Ya they may say your work is great or love it. Tell them to pick it apart and tell both the good parts and bad. If there is more than one person saying the same thing listen to them and fix it. When you hand your work to an editor don't bother them every day or nag them. With editors they will call you once they see a problem or if they like your book. If you contact them too early or at the wrong time they will more than likely close the door, even if they like your book. Let them be and hope for the best. Your editor may rip apart your book so badly that they will read the first 3 pages and say ya not interested, it sucks. Ask them what you can change or make stronger. Get on their good side and earn their trust. They get thousands of manuscripts sent to them a week. Ask them if you fix a certain scene would they look at it. Make your editor your best friend. At times that is not easy but if you piss them off, find another one and try again. Just don't burn too many bridges because editors do talk to other editors at times. It is not what you know, it is who you know.
For one it doesn't hurt your book any if they know the first chapter. Most books have 20+ chapters. So giving away one will in the end should work out to your advantage. This way they know your writing style and word usage. A little tip 'Show; Not Tell!' describe the cracked wall or the dim light or the smell of the air. The howl of the wolf with rain falling hitting the ground. More you let the reader dream and get into the book more they are willing to continue to read your book. If you give a free read they may even write a review for your first chapter for you. Just don't buy likes or fake comments. It looks bad when you do it because many people can tell if it is fake or not. That and they can chose for themselves if it is worth buying. If you make it interesting enough the readers will want to know more about so and so. That or make them want to turn the next page. Free Promotion like this will give you the best word of mouth.
